When I first became a mum, I found returning to work and rebuilding a practice so difficult. I mean, I was sleep deprived, emotionally depleted, and just wanted to be home with my baby (and resting!). And I absolutely loved my career!
The worst part was, I knew I wanted another baby, so my heart wasn’t FULLY into building a practice that I knew I would have to close or hand over to someone else when I had my second child.
The joys of building a health practice as a mum!
I LOVE being a chiropractor (you’ve got to want to help people when you become a health practitioner, right?). But when I became a mum, I wanted more flexibility, more time with my children, and let’s be honest, to earn more passive income so I could afford to send them to the schools I liked, and go on family holidays.
I knew my clinical income brought in enough, but I was tired of trying to rebuild my practice each time I had a child (or moved house/clinics).
