Here’s what I can tell you!
All of these recipes are designed to make homemade baby food, quickly and easily. I’m not a lover of the kitchen, or spending heaps of time in it. So there is nothing hard about all these baby recipes!
Almost every recipe can be given to older children too. While I titled this ebook a baby food recipe book for introducing foods, when I reflect, I use a lot of these recipes on my kids to this day (and they are currently 3 and 5!). Lots of lunchbox ideas, and family-friendly meals in this recipe book. It won’t be one that you use for a second and then never look at again.
Recipes are made by age group. I did this on purpose to make your life much, much easier. You literally don’t have to think about it! I remember being so sleep deprived, that I was grateful for guidance with meal prep. So I’m extending my hand to you, and telling you it’s ok to have someone else guide you through a time where your brain has literally shrunk (science says so!).
You will be able to create these recipes easily and provide your whole family with wholesome, healthy homemade meals. Excluding the puree, you can create these as FAMILY meals. So you only have to cook one meal, rather than focus on baby-specific meals. In saying that, a good puree also doubles as a yummy dip for older kids and adults, so I personally think every recipe can be made into a family recipe!
However, you can also make each recipe in the quantities provided, and freeze them, and keep them specifically for baby. This is a handy way to do it if you know your baby eats around 5pm but you and the rest of the family doesn’t eat until 7pm. That way, you’re not cooking 2 meals each day, but simply defrosting and reheating yummy homemade meals for your baby.
Some of the foods in this baby food recipe book include:
sweet potato
carrot
avocado
chicken
gluten free options on most recipes
dairy free options on most recipes
paleo/grain free options on most recipes
vegan and vegetarian options (though please note I advocate for animal products being part of a healthy diet so this is not a specific vegan/vegetarian recipe book)
